  • Description: I’m a conspiracy theorist and alien nut, which is why I was so excited to finally have a reason to go to Rachel (the power trip was good incentive, too!), the "Rachel Under the Stars 2013" event. I made mom go with me down Groom Lake Rd which is the LONG dirt road to Area 51. We got a little too close apparently, because they sent out the chopper and security truck to basically threaten us until we left. We only got one of the two caches on that road, but apparently the chopper is a rare thing. SWEET!   • Description: We met Norman and his parents earlier in the day while geocaching in Rachel. He also came to hang out with us at the "Under the Stars in Rachel 2013" event, and since he didn’t have any swag, he gave me (a fellow ginger, and former owner of a golden myself) kisses instead.
