TOPIC: USO Center at McCarran International Airport

USO Center at McCarran International Airport 1 year, 5 months ago #60405

I don't know about everyone else but I'm excited that McCarran is finally getting a USO Center.

I definitely will try to volunteer there several hours a month.

That's of course after I get back from this upcoming deployment. Maybe, just maybe, we could do something to have a geocache there.

In this day and age I wouldn't recommend even attempting to place a cache in there, I would figure most wouldn't want to fight the traffic or even the parking to make the walk to the USO center. Just my 2 cents...

I think it'd be a great place for a cache, and the placement would bring more visitors to the USO itself. It'd also be an easy NV cache for any who had a short layover, and I know of quite a few military geocachers who would appreciate that. With the number of exercises going on at Nellis, there are usually quite a few aircrew and maintanance folks going through there. I'd be willing to take a shot at the coordination.
