Las Vegas “Must Do” caches 7 years 11 months ago #42951
There seems to be a significant increase in requests for a list of “must do” caches for visitors to the Las Vegas area, or for the stretch from Primm to St George.
Please post your recommendations for “must do” caches for visitors and why you think these stand out above the others. Please include the GC##### and a linbk of you know how to (even if you just paste the URL from the address bar). Please don’t be offended if your recommendation is not included and the only reason it was recommended was because you own it. Let’s start with… The ultimate drive up cache at a wedding chapel and an ammo can that is camoflaged for that environment. Just pull up to the window during the posted hours and tell them you are a geocacher. Read the logs. This has to be the most liked urban cache in Las Vegas. Welcome to Las Vegas – GC729A Hysterical – GCJEV9 Perhaps someone will do a write up for… |

If you’re looking for a great view of Las Vegas: Mountain’s Edge Edge (GC115Z) or 614 TFS (GCW3JH).
For a good laugh, I like Build a Better Geocache (GCXHEM). Nice cache on the way up to Mt. Charleston. Hard to miss this one! Gridlock (GCZ89A) is impressive as well. |

I-15 South Many Years Ago – GC8FDD A great historic cache and you get a virtual. Sloan Ruins – GC8168 A easy cache with some cool views to help someone find this area and you get a multi. The Pioneer Saloon Cache – GCKQBZ Off of I-15 but I think another fun historic cache that will show people a new area with lots more caches. [/u] |
